Bio

Already enshrined in the NJCAA Women’s Soccer Coaches Hall of Fame, Kelly Drury was an offensive juggernaut for the Florissant Valley Norsewomen in their run to consecutive title match appearances.

In 1988, Drury lead Flo Valley to the NJCAA National title in their 4-0 victory over Mercer College, NJ. scoring all four goals in the championship match giving “Flo Valley” their first women’s soccer national title. Drury and Flo Valley returned to the national title game in 1989, finishing 2nd. Drury was twice named an All-American after scoring 24 goals in 1988 and 31 goals in 1989. She was also named the national tournament’s Offensive MVP both seasons and named to the All-Tournament team both seasons. The Norsewomen fell 1-0 to Monroe CC, NY in the 1989 title match.

A great college career continued in 1990 for Drury as she transferred to Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She was the team’s leading goal scorer in 1990 with 26 goals and 8 assists for 60 points on the season. This ranks her single season output #11 all time on the SIUE scoring records despite only playing one season for the Cougars. She also tallied 6 game winning goals in the 1990 season.

Kelly was inducted into the NJCAA Women’s Soccer Coaches Hall of Fame in 2018.
