Harold Oetting Academic All-Sports Award

Guidelines:

1. Include academic information for those athletes who participated in conference sports. Utilize NJCAA eligibility form. For two semester sports utilize the second semester list. Students who quit or are removed from a squad must be included.
2. Only hours attempted at your institution are to be utilized. This includes those which a letter grade of “F” was issued. “W’s” are not to be included.
3. All developmental hours, as well all college credit level courses included.
4. This information is not computed on best hours, but ALL hours attempted.
5. The entire academic history at your institution for each student athlete must be utilized.
6. Pass/Fail grades are assigned a 2.0 as per NJCAA rules.
7. Classes in-progress/ re-enroll/ incomplete will not be calculated.

Directions:

Divide quality points by the number of hours attempted (e.g. 10 student athletes with 420 quality points / 150 attempted hours = 2.8 GPA). The hours attempted by each student are to be taken into account. Academic All-Sports Award  GPA is not determined by simple cumulative GPA average.
